Run entirely by volunteers East Coast Bays Softball has a proud 45 year+ club history. We are passionate about creating an environment where players enjoy participating in our great game and where they can achieve higher honours if they desire.
Softball is a great summer sport played between October and March. All our games are played at the world class softball facility at Rosedale Park, Albany under North Harbour Softball Association (NHSA) which has over 9 softball clubs within its association. With 18 Diamonds available there are several games being played at any one time, creating an exciting atmosphere with hundreds of people at the ground to play, support or officiate.
In our 2022/23 season East Coast Bays Softball had 27 teams with over 295 players and the only club within NHSA to have four senior women’s teams.
We were honoured to be awarded the Softball New Zealand 'Club of the Year' 2022/23 and for the second consecutive year the North Harbour Softball Dublin Trophy for being the Top Club
We look forward to more growth in our 2023/24 season as we add a fifth senior womens team with our NEW Prem Reserve team.
Our committee look at fundraising and sponsorship opportunities and apply for grants to help with funding. This funding helps keep our junior fees low to get more kids into softball, with upkeep and replacement of team uniforms, catchers safety equipment, gear bags, helmets, bats, training, game balls, prizegiving’s and equipment storage.
Although we have four tiers of sponsorship we are grateful for any level of support from the ‘gift of time’ by being part of the committee or coaching, scorers and umpires or through donation or sponsorship.

BRONZE SPONSOR <$500 - Donate to the club - by selecting “Make a Donation” on our Merchandise order form.
- Provide a prize for our fundraising activity ie: Gift Voucher for our annual Calendar Raffle Fundraiser. Your company name will feature on the ticket, we including Facebook shout-out during Raffle month and Facebook live draw for your prize.
- Player Sponsor – Ranging from giving a helping hand to a junior player who due to circumstances would otherwise not be able to play through to helping a talented player with fees when playing in multiple grades.

SILVER SPONSOR - $501-$1200 As a Silver Sponsor your sponsorship reaches more players. You’ll be helping us keep our junior fees low and support more families and kids into softball. Our silver sponsors help us with funding required to keep the teams gear bags stocked with valid safety equipment. Silver sponsors receive: - Sponsor logo with weblink under our sponsorship tile on the ECB Softball home page.

Team requiring sponsorship: ECB Premier and Prem Reserve Men - New Player Jerseys $3000++ We are seeking ONE Gold sponsors for our Premier and Prem Reserve Men's teams. Our two top mens teams are in need of a player jersery upgrade. This sponsorship will allow us to provide playing shirts for 40 players and we would also look to have after match shirts also. NOTE: Naming rights is available for one gold sponsor at a time, so when more than one sponsor the name will be changed mid season from one sponsor to the next. |
TRAVELLING TEAM SPONSOR Premier Men - New Zealand Interclub Tournament - Christchurch March 2025 We are seeking sponsorship for our Premier Men team to help with funding so they can travel to Christchurch for the New Zealand Interclubs Tournament held March 2025. Travel costs including flights, accommodation and vehicles is in excess of $20k for a travelling squad of 22. Whilst the club and players will fundraiser, we are seeking several sponsors to help our team. Sponsors will receive logo placement on the teams travel/after match shirts, all silver sponsor benefits as well as being tagged in all social media from the tournament.
