Kia ora ECB whanau.

With the season now finished we have our head scorer going through the scorebooks, stating games for prizegiving. Please find below the outline of the prizegivings for both our Junior and Senior grades.

JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING - SUN 06 APRIL 2024

Junior Prizegiving is when we celebrate ALL our junior grades from our Under 5 Taniwha through to our U15/17 Girls and U17/19 Boys.

WHEN: Sunday 06 April 2024 - Start 1pm
WHERE: Rosedale Park - Stadium Seating (by Freeman Field D1)

Please arrive by 12.45pm to be seated with your teams.
We will have pizza and Mr Whippy at the conclusion of the prizegiving for players and team management.

JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING PROGRAMME

SENIOR PRIZEGIVING - SATURDAY 03 MAY 2025

Join us as we celebrate the season and the achievements of all our senior teams. This special event is open to all our senior players and our coaches, managers, and support staff across every grade—let’s come together for a fantastic evening!

Venue: Browns Bay Bowling Club, 784 Beach Road, Browns Bay
Date: Saturday, 3 May 2024

OPTION ONE: Full Lawn Bowls & Prizegiving Experience – From 4PM

Kick off the evening with a fun ECB Lawn Bowls competition—no experience needed, all equipment provided! Then enjoy a mouth-watering spit roast dinner, a complimentary drink, and a night of celebration as we present our team and club awards. A delicious dessert grazing platter will be served throughout the awards.

Schedule:
4:00 - 6:00 PM | Lawn Bowls (10 games running at a time)
6:00 - 7:00 PM | Dinner by The Spit Roast Company
7:30 PM | Prizegiving – Team Awards followed by Club Awards
A dessert grazing platter will be served at each table throughout the club awards.
11:00 PM | Finish

Spit Roast Sample Menu:
3 meats | 4 sides | Roast baby potatoes | Bread rolls | Gravy & sauces
(Please advise of any dietary requirements, e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.)

Cost: $50 per person
Special Price: $25 per person for ECB team coaches, assistant coaches, managers, scorers, and official umpires (max 4 discounted tickets per team)

Tickets must be purchased by Monday, 21 April to confirm catering.

OPTION TWO: Prizegiving Only – From 7:15PM

If you can’t make it for bowls and dinner, join us for the prizegiving celebration. Enjoy a dessert grazing platter while we honour our teams and club members.

Schedule:
7:15 PM | Doors open
7:30 PM | Prizegiving – Team Awards followed by Club Awards
A dessert grazing platter will be served at each table throughout the club awards.
11:00 PM | Finish

Cost: $10 per person

BUY SENIOR PRIZEGIVING TICKETS

When purchasing your prizegiving ticket, you’ll be prompted to select your preferred table, allowing us to arrange the right-sized table for your team.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Online - pay via credit card or invoice. Invoices must be paid no later than 31 May 25.

Direct Credit - pay via bank transfer to ECB Softball 38-9016-0785579-00 - please use Player Name and SNR Prizegiving.

Please note: All those attending the Senior Prizegiving under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a private function and we ask that you respect the Browns Bay Bowling Club facilities. Please stay off the grass bowling greens, drink responsibly, and remember that bringing your own alcohol is not permitted.

UNIFORM RETURN
Thank you to everyone who returned their uniforms on the final day! We still have 25 sets outstanding. If you still have a top and/or pants, please return them either to Philippa at the address below or bring them along to the Junior Prizegiving on Sunday, 6 April.

Please note: After this date, any outstanding uniforms will incur a replacement fee of $75 per top and $75 per pants.

OFF SEASON TRAINING
