We are into the season and it has been great to see so many returning and new ECB players. We have seen some great softball played in the short few weeks of the regular season. Don't forget to check out the ECB Softball Facebook page for photos from the weekend.

LAST DAYS TO ORDER ECB SOFTBALL MERCHANDISE!
Store closes on Friday 15 November 2024. 

For those players without ECB Playing caps, you can now pre-order your caps online, to make sure your caps arrive in the first shipment.  Don’t miss your chance to wear your newly designed New Balance merchandise this season. We have some great apparel options from player pants, junior caps, fitted caps, batting jackets, hoodies, training t-shirts, undershirts, compression sleeves.  

Orders placed will be delivered to the club for collection mid January 2025.  When ordering please click the 'expand toggle' to the right of each product to select your size. All items require a minimum order of 12 before the order can be placed.

ECB SOFTBALL MARCH 2025 CALENDAR RAFFLE

Our calendar raffle is our biggest fundraiser of the year and help us purchase and maintain essential team equipment, provide uniforms, cover operational costs like storage etc..  We are reaching out to teams and sponsors to create our Calendar Raffle so we can have amazing prizes for 31 days in March. 

Our Raffle tickets will go on sale in late January through February and prizes are drawn each day in March.  If you or your business would like to contribute a prize in way of a gift voucher, donation please reach out to treasurer@ecbsoftball.org.nz 

What’s in it for businesses:  Daily draws will tag and promote any business that has donated that days prize, your business is mention on all calendar raffle tickets, as well as online.

PITCHER/CATCHER CLINICS
Tuesday 12 and 19 November 4.30-6.00pm @ Diamond 7
Pitching Clinic (for our junior boys from U15 and senior men) must bring a catcher per team - clinic held by Rorke, Zach and Fergus 

Tuesday 26 November 4.30-6.00pm @ Diamond 7
Catcher Clinic (for our juniors from U13 to seniors) - clinic held by Troy, Flynn and Adam 

Friday nights beginner pitching with Sam and Michelle @ Diamond 7 
4-5pm for U11 - U15 and 5-6pm Div 3 women and senior women. 
Must bring a catcher per team. This clinic is targeting those beginning pitching that need a place to practice the fundermentals.

GREEN CAP SCORER PROGRAMME
This programme is run by North Harbour Softball and is designed for current and new scorers from all grades who are at the beginner level wanting to upskill to intermediate.  
Tuesday 12 November 6pm in the scorers room downstairs in the stadium, and runs fortnightly.  

UNIFORMS
Please respect the uniform guidelines which means, tucking in your player shirts, looking tidy and if you are wearing undershirts please make sure they are black as per uniform guidelines.  Uniform guidelines and our code of conduct for our players, coaches etc can be found online.  

TEAM REACH
REQUESTS: Please make sure you mark your attendance for games on your Team Reach groups. This helps your coach arrange their team line ups for games and also trainings.  Please also set your notifications on your Team Reach so you can be notified with any important information like diamond changes, game cancellations etc.  

SOFTBALL FEES
A reminder that your softball fees are due before play this weekend. You must have fees paid or a payment plan in place to be eligible to play. If you would like to discuss a payment plan please contact Suzette our Club Treasurer via email treasurer@ecbsoftball.org.nz
