The regular season is upon us, we have our first Friday games tonight for our U15/17 Girls and U17/19 Boys, and games for all grades starting on Saturday.  You can check the draw on the ECB website, note that game details are not finalised until Thursday, so we ask that you check prior to your game and on your Team Reach groups.

NEW ECB SOFTBALL MERCHANDISE ON SALE NOW!
We are proud to launch our new merchandise store in partnership New Balance and Belgvria Apparel. The merchandise store is now open and will close on Friday 15th November 2024.

Don’t miss your chance to wear your newly designed New Balance merchandise this season. We have some great apparel options from player pants, junior caps, fitted caps, batting jackets, hoodies, training t-shirts, undershirts, compression sleeves.  

How it works: All items require a minimum order of 12 before the order can be placed.   
Orders placed will be delivered to the club for collection mid January 2025.  When ordering please click the 'expand toggle' to the right of each product to select your size.

GAME DAY INFORMATION
An ECB Gazbeo will be placed between Diamond 8 and 9 this weekend, you are welcome to use this as shade, to sit and watch the ECB games on these diamonds. 

This will also be our pick up point for:  

• Coaches to collect Game Balls, score books, Player of the Day Trophy/Certificates.
• Uniforms for those few that have not collected your uniform. 
• Purchase any last minute belts, visor, socks (note caps are on pre-order online) 

Draws are not finalised until Thursday pm, so please check for any updates towards the end of each week in case of any changes to your diamond etc… You can find the draws for ECB teams on our website. www.ecbsoftball.org.nz 

SOFTBALL FEES
A reminder that your softball fees are due before play this weekend. You must have fees paid or a payment plan in place to be eligible to play. If you would like to discuss a payment plan please contact Suzette our Club Treasurer via email treasurer@ecbsoftball.org.nz

UPDATE FROM NORTH HARBOUR: 

Tonight: U17/19 Boys and U15/17 Girls

• Canteen opens from 5:30pm till late – All Day Menu only.
• No Bar Open.
• Teams please ensure all rubbish is removed form the dugouts after your games to ensure they are tidy for all the games tomorrow.
• No warming up on the foul ball lines please.
• Ballpark Broadcasting will be covering some of the games tonight. Check the North Harbour Facebook page. 

Saturday: All Junior and Senior Grades (apart from Div 1 Men)

• Reminder no warming up on the foul ball lines
• Canteen opens from 8am till 8pm and bars open at 12pm
• Real fruit Ice Cream onsite 
• Bouncy Castle for the kids
• Karaoke from 6:30pm – let’s make it a great opening night. 
• A few friendly reminders – As per the Rules and Bylaws – no smoking or vaping in the dugouts at anytime along with no alcohol to be consumed by players during games. Note the fines in the Rules and Bylaws.
• Reminder to respect the officials
• Let’s also keep the park tidy and please ensure all rubbish is put in the bins through out the day.
• If you are bringing dogs to the park, then they must be on a leash and no dogs or other furry critters are allowed in the dugouts or on the playing fields.

 Monday: Div 1 Men

• Reminder no warming up on the foul ball lines
• Canteen opens from 5:30pm till late, and bar open from 5:30pm till late
• Please remove any rubbish from the dugouts after your games.
