Hi everyone, Reminder we have our Muster Day this Sunday and we also have a big weekend of softball games at Rosedale Park. This weekend our ECB game times are: Saturday - Today!: Sunday: We have a ‘Full Day at the Park’ on today with four ECB games. We will be setting up the ECB gazebos by the scoreboard on Leveloff Field and inviting all our ECB whanau along to share some shade, watch some ball and support our teams. We'd love to see you there!! Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket, water, hat and sunscreen the weather looks good. In this newsletter we have:

MUSTER DAY - SUNDAY 20 OCTOBER 10am - 2pm This will be held at Carpet Court Albany, (Showroom entrance) This is the time to collect your uniform, grab any merchandise required such as a belt, cap, visor and merch and finalise your registrations if needed. 10.00 - 10.30 Under 5 and Under 7 These times are a guide to help with flow. If you have several family members across different grades, please come within one of your time slots. The key is to collect your uniform this day ie: if you are an U7 and need to come with the seniors, please do so. For ease of trying on player pants and tops, we recommend wearing appropriate clothing that you can put uniform on over the top. If you are unable to make this muster day, you will need to contact uniforms@ecbsoftball.org.nz to arrange a time to collect from Rosedale Park. Carpet Court Albany are a proud sponsor of our Prem Womens team the Panthers and we are so grateful for them letting us use their space for our muster day. PAY IT FORWARD If you had any old softball gear that you haven't touched for seasons or have out grown please bring that along and we can find a new loving home for it.

JUNIOR CLUB CAPTAIN UPDATE Our junior teams are filling up nicely and I just wanted to drop you a note to say, if you are still considering registering yourself and/or your child/ren for the upcoming season, to kick start your engines and get your registrations in now. We have teams in every age grade from Under 5 - Under 19, with over 176 juniors and 155 seniors registered. Some teams are full whilst others still have capacity. If any Under 13 girls have friends that want to join we have space, we still have some space in our Under 11 boys team and if we get any more Under 7's we'll create two teams. It is like a game of tetris which is keeping me busy and I’m loving it! Your JCC Bron |
